Avant tout, ce film est un document ouvert sur l'avenir d'un pays dont les cicatrices ont du mal à se refermer. La création artistique à Haïti a toujours été comme le vaudou, un instrument de résistance face à l'oppression et à l'exploitation. Aujourd'hui, elle est aussi, plus que jamais, une invitation à conjurer les longues années noires de la dictature.        

More than anything else Haïti couleurs (Colors of Haïti) is an open documentary about the future of a country whose scars are taking a long time to heal. Artistic creation in Haïti has always been a bit like voodoo, an instrument of resistance in the face of oppression and exploitation. Now, more than ever, it is an invitation to ward off the long, dark years of the dictatorship.
